Description

The Ripple is a 650mm table lamp built around a cylindrical black porcelain base with horizontal ribbed detailing, topped with a brushed nickel collar and finial and a 360mm white faux linen hard-backed drum shade. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), with the shade diffusing light both upwards and downwards through the top and bottom openings.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways, and side tables in living rooms, the Ripple provides ambient and task lighting where a ceiling fitting would be impractical or where additional layered light is needed. The 340mm-tall porcelain base gives the lamp stability on surfaces without needing a wide footprint — the 140mm base diameter keeps it compact on narrow bedside tables or console surfaces. The white shade sits 250mm tall, proportioned to cast light across a reading position or workspace without glare.

The ribbed texture on the porcelain base creates subtle shadow lines under natural light and adds tactile interest to an otherwise simple cylindrical form. Yes. The white faux linen shade is a standard hard-backed drum shade that can be replaced if damaged or if you prefer a different colour or texture. The shade fits onto the harp via the finial at the top.

The base diameter is 140mm, so the lamp requires a circular footprint of approximately 150mm to sit safely. The shade extends to 360mm diameter, so allow at least 400mm of clear space to avoid the shade overlapping other items on the same surface.
