Description
The Lumina is a compact alabaster pendant built from two 60mm spheres of natural Spanish alabaster, stacked vertically and joined by a polished brass collar with a matching brass cap and rod at the top. Each sphere houses a G9 lamp, so light is generated inside the stone itself rather than passing through it from above, giving both orbs a warm internal glow against the brass hardware.
The 150mm fixture height and slim suspension cable suit positions where a small, vertical light is wanted: bedside drops on either side of a bed, a row above a kitchen island or breakfast bar, or a cluster of three or more over a dining table at staggered drops. The cable length is adjustable on installation, allowing the orbs to sit anywhere from just below the ceiling to roughly 700-800mm above a worktop.
Each alabaster sphere is cut from natural stone, so veining, cloudy marbling and subtle amber tones differ between individual pieces and shift in appearance once the G9 lamps are switched on. The brass collar that anchors the two orbs at their meeting point and the open brass cup at the base introduce a warm metallic line through the centre of the fitting, framing the spheres without dominating them. The combination of soft white stone and brushed-tone brass pairs with both warm-neutral and darker, moodier interiors.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Lumina take?
The pendant uses two G9 capsule lamps, one inside each alabaster sphere. G9 LED bulbs in 2700K-3000K warm white work best with alabaster, since cooler temperatures can flatten the natural amber tones in the stone. Bulbs are sold separately.
Is the drop adjustable?
Yes. The fitting itself is 150mm tall, but the suspension cable is adjustable on installation, so the pendant can be set close to the ceiling or hung lower over a counter, dining table or bedside position.
Does each piece of alabaster look the same?
No. Each orb is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, marbling and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. The character of the stone becomes more visible once the lamps are on, and is part of the natural material rather than a fault.
Can the Lumina be hung in clusters?
Yes. The compact 60mm orb diameter and slim profile make the Lumina well suited to clustered installations: a row above a kitchen island, a pair flanking a bed, or a staggered group of three to five over a dining table. Each pendant is supplied as a single fitting with its own canopy.
