Description

The Lumessa is an 800mm circular wall mirror with a segmented frame built from alternating blocks of natural Spanish alabaster and brushed brass arranged radially around a central round mirror. An integrated 20W 3000K LED inside the frame backlights the alabaster segments, casting a soft halo of warm light around the mirror's edge. The fixture has a shallow 50mm depth and runs on 230V mains.

Suited to entrance halls, dressing rooms, living areas and powder rooms, the Lumessa works as a backlit feature mirror rather than a primary task mirror. The ambient glow around the perimeter provides soft fill light at face level, useful in hallways without overhead lighting or as a supplementary source in a dressing area. At 800mm diameter it sits comfortably above a console table or sideboard of 1.2-1.6m width.

Each alabaster segment is cut from natural stone, so the veining and translucency vary block-to-block and between individual mirrors. The brushed brass spacers, set at regular intervals around the ring, give the frame a rhythmic geometry and a warm metallic counterpoint to the cooler stone. The mirror plate sits flush within the inner edge of the frame, keeping the reflective surface clean and uninterrupted.
