Description

The Gleonis Large is a 200mm spherical table lamp built from matt white painted metal with a polycarbonate diffuser finished in a paper-effect coating. The single E27 fitting sits inside the sphere, casting light through the diffuser to produce a soft, even glow without harsh directional shadows.

Designed for bedside tables, desks and side tables in living rooms, the Gleonis provides ambient light suitable for reading or creating background illumination in rooms up to 15m². The 200mm diameter gives enough light spread for a single-bed bedside position or a desk corner without overwhelming smaller surfaces. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

The matt white finish on the metal frame pairs with white or light-toned interiors, and the spherical form reads as a sculptural object when unlit. The polycarbonate diffuser is impact-resistant and lighter than glass, reducing the risk of breakage if knocked. The lamp accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to the manufacturer's maximum wattage (see Specification), giving control over colour temperature and brightness to suit the room.

What bulb does the Gleonis take?

The lamp takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient or bedside lighting.

Is it dimmable?

No. The lamp itself is not dimmable. If dimming is required, pair it with a dimmable E27 LED bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer on the circuit.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the lamp is suitable for dry indoor locations only and must not be installed in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or outdoor locations.

What's the height of the lamp?

The specification lists diameter only (200mm). The Gleonis is a spherical form, so the height including the base will be slightly greater than 200mm depending on the base design. Contact us for exact height measurements if needed for a specific installation.
