Description

The Freida is a 300mm diameter crystal table lamp built around a French gold central stem with strands of clear faceted crystal beads arranged in cascading loops beneath an ivory cream organza shade. Three E14 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the shade structure, casting light through both the fabric diffuser and the crystal strands below it.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and side tables in bedrooms, lounges and entrance halls, the Freida combines ambient light with decorative presence. The 550mm height positions the shade at approximately eye level when seated, making it suitable for reading or general room ambience. The French gold finish is a warmer metallic tone than polished brass or chrome, pairing with cream, beige, taupe and warm grey interiors as well as traditional darker wood furniture.

The crystal strands are arranged to catch and refract light from the bulbs above, creating a shimmer effect when the lamp is switched on. Each strand terminates in a hexagonal drop that adds weight and prevents the crystals tangling. The organza shade diffuses the light output enough to avoid glare while allowing the crystals below to remain visible and lit. The lamp base is weighted at 3.8kg, providing stability on most flat surfaces without needing to be secured.
