Description
The Elmyra is a 1160mm linear suspension built from ten cuboid blocks of natural Spanish alabaster, each suspended on its own slim steel cable from a shared linear ceiling track. The cubes are staggered at slightly varying heights along the length of the run, breaking the rigid horizontal line and giving the fitting a sculptural rhythm rather than a uniform row. Each block houses a single G9 lamp (sold separately), lighting the stone from within.
Designed for spans where a single pendant would feel undersized, the Elmyra suits dining tables of 1.4m or longer, kitchen islands, and reception desks where a horizontal light source is needed without a heavy frame. The 1160mm length and 120mm width keep the visual weight low despite the ten light points. Slim cables descend cleanly from the track and can be adjusted on installation to set each cube at the desired drop above the surface below.
Each alabaster block is cut from a single piece of natural stone, so the veining, mineral inclusions and tonal variation differ between cubes. Some blocks show pronounced amber and grey markings; others are almost uniformly milky. When the G9 lamps are lit, these differences become more visible, with the stone acting as the diffuser. The supporting structure is finished in a low-key tone that recedes against the alabaster, keeping the stone as the visual focus.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Elmyra take?
The suspension takes ten G9 capsule lamps, one per alabaster cube. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white G9 LED of 2-3W at 2700K-3000K typically suits the alabaster best, complementing the natural amber tones in the stone.
What size table or island does it suit?
At 1160mm long, the Elmyra is well-matched to dining tables and kitchen islands of 1.4m to 2m in length. As a guide, the suspension should be around 200-300mm shorter than the surface it lights, so the lit cubes fall within the footprint of the table or island.
Does each alabaster cube look the same?
No. Each cube is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, mineral inclusions and tonal variation differ between blocks. Some cubes carry pronounced amber or grey markings while others appear almost uniformly milky. This is a feature of the natural material.
Can the drops be adjusted on installation?
Yes. The slim suspension cables can be shortened during fitting, allowing each cube to sit at the desired drop above the surface below. The cubes are typically set at staggered heights for the sculptural effect, but they can also be levelled to a uniform line if preferred.
