Description
The Caelis is a four-light cluster pendant built from faceted, kite-shaped panels of natural Spanish alabaster and brushed brass, suspended on slim brass rods from a square brushed brass canopy. Two alabaster panels and two brushed brass panels hang at staggered heights inside a 350mm x 600mm footprint, with an integrated 50W 3000K LED concealed behind the cluster casting warm light through the stone and across the metal faces.
The 1200mm overall drop suits double-height spaces, stairwells, entrance halls and tall living rooms with ceilings of 2.7m or higher. The square canopy fits a standard UK ceiling rose, and the four supporting rods can be shortened on installation to bring the cluster up for lower rooms or extended runs above stairwells. Mounted over a console, dining table or in a void, the staggered panel heights give the fitting a different silhouette from each viewing angle.
Each alabaster panel is cut from a single block of natural stone, so veining, translucency and tonal variation differ between pieces and between fittings. The brushed brass panels are matched in shape to the alabaster, creating a balanced two-material composition rather than a frame around a shade. At 1200mm tall and 600mm wide, the Caelis reads as a sculptural vertical element without the visual weight of a traditional chandelier of similar scale.

Frequently Asked
What ceiling height does the Caelis suit?
The pendant has an overall drop of 1200mm, so it works best in rooms with ceilings of 2.7m or higher, in stairwells, or in double-height voids. The supporting rods can be shortened on installation to suit lower ceilings, or extended runs are possible for tall stairwell positions.
Is each fitting visually identical?
No. The two alabaster panels in each Caelis are cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, translucency and tonal variation differ between panels and between fittings. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect.
Is the LED replaceable?
The 50W 3000K LED is integrated into the fitting rather than using a replaceable bulb. Integrated LEDs are rated for tens of thousands of hours of use; if the LED ever fails within the warranty period, contact us for support.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
