Description

The Bravion is a 500mm round flush ceiling light built around a single disc of natural Spanish alabaster set within a brushed brass rim. The fitting projects only 50mm from the ceiling and uses an integrated 3000K LED behind the stone, so the alabaster itself acts as the diffuser. Run on 230V mains with no exposed bulb, the entire face of the light glows evenly when switched on.

The shallow 50mm depth makes the Bravion well suited to rooms with low ceilings where a pendant or semi-flush fitting would intrude on headroom. It works in hallways, landings, bedrooms, dressing rooms and ensuite bathrooms (subject to the relevant zone and IP requirements for wet areas — check the Specification tab and consult an electrician). The 500mm diameter gives enough surface area to light a 3-4m room as a primary ceiling source.

Each alabaster disc is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining, cloudy patches and tonal shifts vary between pieces. Lit from behind, these mineral patterns become visible across the face of the light, giving a softer, more organic quality than a printed or moulded diffuser. The brushed brass rim sits proud of the stone by a few millimetres, framing the disc and catching ambient light around the edge.

Mounting is via fixings concealed at the top of the brass rim, so once installed there are no visible screws on the visible face. The 2-year warranty covers the integrated LED driver and electrical components.

Is the Bravion suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. At only 50mm projection from the ceiling, the Bravion is designed for rooms where a pendant would intrude on headroom. It works well in hallways, landings, bedrooms and other spaces with ceilings under 2.4m.

Does it come with a bulb?

The LED is integrated, so no separate bulb is required or can be fitted. The light source is built into the fitting and runs at 3000K (warm white) on 230V mains.

Will every alabaster disc look the same?

No. Each disc is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, cloudy patches and tonal variation differ between pieces. When lit, these mineral patterns become visible across the face of the light. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

Bathroom suitability depends on the IP rating for the specific zone of installation. The Specification tab does not list an IP rating for this fitting, so we recommend installing it only in dry zones outside the immediate shower or bath area, and consulting a qualified electrician for any bathroom installation.
