Description
The Almora is a 580mm tall cylindrical wall light formed from a single column of natural Spanish alabaster, divided by two brushed brass bands and mounted on a rectangular brushed brass back plate. An integrated 15W LED runs through the cylinder at 3000K, lighting the stone from within and casting soft up-and-down wash light onto the wall above and below the fitting.
At 85mm wide with a 110mm projection from the wall, the Almora suits hallways, stairwells, bedrooms either side of a bed and living room walls flanking a fireplace or artwork. Installed in pairs, the slim vertical profile reinforces symmetry without crowding the wall. The single back plate fixes to a standard wall box, with the cable concealed behind the brass mounting.
The 80mm diameter alabaster cylinder is cut from solid Spanish stone, so the veining, mineral inclusions and tonal variation differ between individual fittings. When lit, these patterns become visible through the translucent stone, giving each Almora a distinct surface character. The solid copper frame is finished in soft white with brushed brass collars top, middle and bottom, framing the alabaster and reinforcing the cylindrical profile.

Frequently Asked
Does the Almora light up and down?
Yes. The integrated LED sits within the alabaster cylinder, casting light through the stone along its full length and emitting wash light from the open ends top and bottom. The fitting works as both an ambient feature and a soft up-and-down wall wash.
Is it suitable for bathroom use?
An IP rating is not specified for this fitting, so it should be installed in dry indoor zones only — hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and stairwells rather than bathrooms or covered exterior areas.
Does each fitting look the same?
No. The 80mm cylinder is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a manufacturing inconsistency.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, but avoid soaking the stone and never use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
