Steam is the quiet vandal of bathroom schemes. It does not break anything on day one; it works slowly, lifting lacquer, clouding cheap acrylic diffusers, and leaving a chalky bloom on porous stone. Which is why choosing bathroom wall lights is a technical decision dressed up as an aesthetic one. Get the zone and the ingress rating right first, then ask whether the shade flatters a face at the mirror.
