Description

The Citronic CUBA-8A is an active full-range PA speaker cabinet built for sound reinforcement across a wide range of settings. It runs a lightweight class-D bi-amplifier that delivers 250W of full-range output, with a 5-preset DSP section handling EQ and dynamics. The DSP can extend the response down to low resonant frequencies, so you get clean output across the full audio spectrum without adding a separate subwoofer for many jobs. Five profiles are on offer: Normal, DJ, Voice, Live and Flat, letting you match the sound to the room and the source.

Connections cover most working needs. There's a switchable Mic/line input on XLR or jack, plus a line input that accepts XLR, jack or RCA (phono). A built-in Bluetooth receiver handles wireless playback straight from a phone or tablet, and an XLR line output lets you link cabinets or feed a recorder. The enclosure is texture-coated MDF with a powder-coated steel grille, so it holds up to regular transport and use. Two side handles and a 35mm pole-mount socket make it easy to carry and to fit on a speaker stand (tripod).

The rear of each cabinet has two different bevels, giving you angled placement at ground level as a floor monitor or a tilted throw when stand-mounted. Multiple inset M8 flying points let you suspend the cabinet for arrays or fixed installs. Powered from a 230Vac IEC mains supply, the CUBA-8A suits mobile DJs, bands, hire firms and venues wanting a compact active box that covers the full range on its own.
