Description

The Zon is a 22cm diameter flush ceiling light with an integrated 24W LED emitting 3000K warm white light through a white acrylic diffuser. The shallow 6cm profile sits tight to the ceiling, with the aluminium body concealing the LED module and driver behind a single circular face that mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose.

Designed for low-ceilinged spaces where a pendant would hang too low, the Zon suits hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms (IP20 rated for zones outside splash areas), and small living rooms where ceiling height is 2.3m or below. The flush mount removes the visual clutter of a hanging fixture and the white finish allows the fitting to blend into white or light-coloured ceilings without creating a hard accent point.

The aluminium construction gives the fitting durability without weight, and the 24W LED output provides sufficient ambient light for a 10-12m² room when used as the primary ceiling light. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range, closer to traditional halogen or incandescent bulbs than cooler 4000K LED alternatives, making it suitable for residential interiors where a relaxed atmosphere is needed rather than bright task lighting.

Is the Zon suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 6cm height makes it one of the shallowest flush ceiling lights available, designed specifically for low-ceilinged rooms where a pendant or semi-flush fitting would hang too low or create visual clutter.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating means it can be used in bathroom zones outside the direct splash areas (typically zones 3 and outside). It is not rated for zones 0, 1 or 2 where direct water contact or high humidity occurs.

What size room does 24W cover?

As a primary ceiling light, the 24W output suits rooms of approximately 10-12m² (a typical small bedroom, hallway, or en-suite). Larger rooms may need a second fitting or supplementary lighting.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The 5-year warranty and typical LED lifespan of 25,000+ hours mean the fitting should last 10-15 years under normal domestic use before replacement is needed.
