Description

The Zephyrus Square is a 22cm LED wall or ceiling light from Ideal Lux Italy, built around an integrated LED panel that produces 4000K neutral white light through a white steel frame and plastic diffuser. The 220mm square footprint suits hallways, landings, utility rooms and bathrooms where functional task light is needed without decorative overhead presence.

Designed for dual-mounting flexibility, the Zephyrus can be fixed flush to a ceiling or mounted on a wall as a functional wall light. The IP20 rating limits it to indoor dry areas only — it is not suitable for outdoor use or wet bathroom zones. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white (2700K-3000K) and cool white (5000K+), giving a neutral daylight tone that works for task-focused spaces where colour accuracy matters more than ambient warmth.

The white steel frame and precision-moulded plastic diffuser give the fitting a low-profile presence of approximately 60mm projection from the mounting surface. The integrated LED eliminates the need to source or replace bulbs, but also means the light source cannot be changed or upgraded once installed. The 22cm width provides enough coverage for a 1.5-2m hallway or a small bathroom without overwhelming the space.

No. The integrated LED runs at fixed brightness and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating means it can only be installed in dry bathroom zones away from direct water spray. It is not suitable for Zone 1 or Zone 2 areas near showers, baths or basins.

Can the LED be replaced if it fails?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and cannot be removed or replaced. If the LED fails outside the warranty period, the entire unit needs replacing. Ideal Lux covers the fitting with a 5-year warranty.
