Description
The Zanvera is a 100mm split-orb pendant light formed from two curved sections of natural light beige travertine, suspended from a slim copper-toned braided cord. The two stone halves are offset to leave a narrow vertical opening through the centre of the sphere, where an E27 lamp sits concealed inside the orb and casts warm light out through the gap.
Sized for use in pairs or clusters above a kitchen island, over a bedside, or as a single accent above a hallway console, the small 100mm diameter keeps the pendant proportional in compact spaces and allows multiple units to be hung in a row without crowding. The single E27 socket accepts standard screw-fit bulbs, so the colour temperature and brightness can be selected to suit the room.
Travertine is a sedimentary stone defined by its open pores, mineral pitting and soft tonal banding, all of which are visible across the curved surface of each half. The light beige tone reads as a warm neutral against white, plaster, oak and walnut interiors, and the matte stone finish keeps the focus on the sculpted geometry rather than reflected highlights. Because the orb is cut from natural stone, the pore pattern and veining differ between individual pendants.
The split between the two halves does most of the visual work once the lamp is on: light escapes as a defined crescent at the front and a broader glow across the inner faces, giving the pendant a layered, dimensional quality rather than a single flat point of illumination.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Zanvera take?
The pendant uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 4-8W and 2700K-3000K works well, allowing the light to glow softly through the central opening without overpowering the small 100mm orb.
Can it be hung in groups over a kitchen island?
Yes. The 100mm diameter is well suited to cluster or row arrangements above a kitchen island or dining table. Drops can typically be set during installation, and spacing of around 300-400mm between pendants keeps the grouping balanced without the orbs visually merging.
Will each pendant look the same?
No. Travertine is a natural stone, so the pore pattern, mineral pitting and tonal banding vary between individual pendants. When ordering multiples, expect each orb to share the same overall light beige tone but show its own surface character.
How is travertine cleaned?
Travertine is porous and benefits from gentle dry dusting with a soft microfibre cloth. For occasional deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with plain water is acceptable. Avoid acidic cleaners, household sprays and polishes, which can stain or etch the stone surface.
