The Wise decorative reflector frame is a 49mm diameter trim ring designed to fit around recessed downlights in the Maytoni Wise series. Made from plastic with a matte gold finish, the frame sits flush against the ceiling surface and forms a warm metallic border around the light aperture. The 1.8cm height includes both the visible rim and the mounting depth.

Designed for residential and commercial applications where recessed lighting is used in ceilings with visible surfaces, the frame turns a functional downlight into a more intentional design element. It suits hallways, living rooms, offices and retail spaces where the ceiling is part of the visible interior rather than being hidden or secondary. No. The Wise frame is sized and designed specifically for Maytoni Wise series recessed downlights. The 49mm diameter will not fit other manufacturers' downlights without checking compatibility first. If you're unsure whether your existing downlight is a Wise model, contact us with the model number before ordering.

How is the frame fitted?

The frame clips or fixes onto the Wise downlight housing after the electrical fitting has been wired and secured in the ceiling void. Installation requires access to the downlight from below once the electrical work is complete. Does the frame affect the light output?

No. The frame sits around the outer edge of the downlight aperture and does not obstruct or diffuse the light path. It functions purely as a decorative trim between the downlight and the ceiling surface.
