Description

The Wave is a 1.46m LED floor lamp built around a single matt black metal column with an opal polycarbonate diffuser at the top, housing an integrated 16W 3000K LED. The 200mm diameter circular base provides stability on carpet and hard floors, while the vertical column occupies minimal floor area — approximately the footprint of a coffee mug.

Designed as ambient room lighting rather than task lighting, the Wave suits corners of living rooms, bedrooms and office spaces where upward-directed light can wash a wall or ceiling without taking up surface area that a table lamp would need. The opal diffuser spreads the 16W LED output evenly in all directions from the top of the column, preventing harsh shadows or glare. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to traditional halogen.

The matt black painted metal finish absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping the column visually recessive when the lamp is lit. The PVC cable runs down the inside of the column and exits at the base, connecting to a standard UK 3-pin plug. The LED is integrated and non-replaceable, rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use — around 13 years at 5 hours per day. The IP20 rating confirms indoor use only.
