Description
The Warwick is an 18 light chandelier constructed from wrought iron in graphite black, spanning 1220mm in diameter across two concentric tiers. The upper tier carries 6 lights, the lower tier 12, each with an E14 candle bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately). Four lengths of chain link the two tiers and rise to a central canopy, with the frame itself built from forged iron bands, individual candle drip trays and turned iron details that reference medieval metalwork.
Designed for high-ceiling residential spaces such as entrance halls, dining rooms with 3m+ ceilings, double-height living areas or stairwells where the full 970mm body height can be appreciated from multiple levels. The minimum drop from ceiling to base is 1040mm, extendable to nearly 6m using the supplied chain. The graphite black finish softens the iron's visual weight compared to polished or lacquered black, making the chandelier recede slightly in darker rooms while still providing strong architectural presence in lighter spaces.
Each of the 18 arms projects outward from the two circular bands, with candle cups set on turned stems and small drip trays underneath each cup. The wrought iron construction means the chandelier weighs substantially more than brass or aluminium equivalents — professional installation is recommended, and the ceiling fixing must be rated for the combined weight of the frame and 18 bulbs. The graphite finish is applied over the forged iron and sealed to resist tarnishing in centrally heated interiors.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Warwick take?
The chandelier requires 18 E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs, each rated to a maximum of 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair the fitting with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W per bulb and 2700K for a traditional look.
What ceiling height is needed?
The minimum drop is 1040mm (ceiling to base), so a ceiling height of at least 3m is recommended to allow adequate clearance below. The chandelier suits double-height entrance halls, vaulted living rooms and stairwells where its full vertical and horizontal scale can be appreciated.
How is the drop adjusted?
The chandelier hangs on a 2500mm chain, adjustable on installation by removing chain links before final wiring. Once installed, the drop cannot be adjusted without disconnecting and re-wiring the fitting.
Does it require specialist installation?
Yes. The wrought iron construction makes the Warwick substantially heavier than brass or aluminium chandeliers. The ceiling fixing point must be rated for the combined weight of the frame and 18 bulbs, and a qualified electrician should assess the fixing before installation.
