Description
The Wall Street is a 55cm bollard light with a cylindrical black aluminium post and a rotatable spotlight head at the top, housing a single GU10 bulb (sold separately). The dome lamp rotates through approximately 90 degrees, allowing the light beam to be directed down onto a pathway, angled towards planting, or aimed at architectural features depending on the installation context.
Designed for pathways, driveways, garden borders and entrance approaches, the bollard stands 55cm above ground level with a 13.5cm-wide head and a 6.5cm-diameter post. The IP54 rating provides protection against dust ingress and water spray from any direction, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use in UK weather conditions. The aluminium body is powder-coated in matt black, providing corrosion resistance and a low-reflectance finish that reduces glare in darkness.
The GU10 fitting accepts LED, halogen or CFL bulbs up to 50W, giving control over light temperature, beam angle and running cost. Most installations use a warm-white LED between 4-7W with a narrow 38-degree beam for path definition, or a wider 60-degree beam for area wash. The rotatable head allows a single bollard to serve dual purposes: downward path lighting when positioned along a walkway, or angled accent lighting when positioned near planting beds or retaining walls.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Wall Street takes a GU10 bulb up to 50W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-7W LED GU10 in warm white (2700K-3000K) with either a 38-degree beam for path definition or a 60-degree beam for broader area coverage.
Can the light direction be adjusted after installation?
Yes. The dome lamp head rotates through approximately 90 degrees, allowing the beam to be angled down onto a pathway, aimed at planting, or directed towards walls and features. The rotation mechanism holds position once set.
Is it suitable for coastal or high-moisture locations?
The IP54 rating provides protection against dust and water spray from any direction, making it suitable for typical UK outdoor conditions including rain and garden irrigation. For coastal locations with salt spray, periodic rinsing of the powder-coated surface will extend finish life.
How is it installed?
The bollard requires a mains 230V supply fed through underground armoured cable or conduit to the installation point. The base of the post mounts onto a concrete foundation or a ground spike depending on the installation method chosen. Full installation instructions are included in the downloadable manual above.
