Description

The Vivid is a 6-light crystal chandelier built on a chrome-plated metal frame with blown glass arms that curve outwards from a central body. Each arm holds an E14 candle bulb fitting surrounded by cut crystal droplets and pendants that hang from the frame and arm joints. The chrome finish on the metal structure reflects light across the room, while the clear glass arms give the fitting a lighter visual presence than solid metal construction.

At 660mm diameter and 530mm height before the chain, the Vivid suits dining rooms over tables seating 6-8, entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, and living rooms where a central decorative fitting is needed. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with compatible E14 LED or halogen bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch, allowing output to be reduced for evening ambience. The grey velvet chain cover runs the full length of the suspension chain and cable, concealing the metal links and wiring.

Each of the six arms carries multiple crystal droplets in a mix of shapes — teardrop pendants, faceted beads, and flat-cut diamond shapes that catch and split light as the chandelier moves slightly on air currents. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations only. Ideal Lux manufactures the Vivid in Italy and backs it with a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects in the frame, glass and electrical components.

Does it come with bulbs?

No. The Vivid requires six E14 candle bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair it with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in 2700K warm white for a soft glow that complements the crystal. The maximum recommended wattage per bulb is 40W if using halogen or incandescent.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, but dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen and the dimmer switch installed. LED bulbs require an LED-compatible dimmer, while halogen or incandescent bulbs work with standard trailing-edge dimmers. Test compatibility before final installation.

What ceiling height is needed?

The chandelier body measures 530mm tall before the chain. For dining table installation the bottom of the chandelier typically sits 700-900mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The chain length is adjustable on installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal droplet with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal fittings or letting water run into the bulb sockets. Do not use chemical sprays or polishes on the crystal.
