Description
The Vista is a 2-light outdoor wall spotlight with independently adjustable heads mounted on a powder-coated grey aluminium backplate. Each head houses a GU10 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately) behind a tempered glass lens, allowing the two beams to be angled independently to light different zones or converged onto a single feature.
Designed for external walls on patios, garden paths, garage entrances and building facades, the Vista provides directed task lighting or accent lighting for architectural features, plants and outdoor seating areas. The IP44 rating protects against solid objects over 1mm and splashing water from any direction, making the fitting suitable for positions with overhead shelter or under eaves where it won't be directly drenched by driving rain. Each head rotates on a ball joint, giving approximately 180° vertical tilt and 90° horizontal rotation from the centre position.
The powder-coated aluminium construction resists surface corrosion in typical UK outdoor conditions. The grey finish sits between charcoal and mid-grey, pairing with masonry, render, timber cladding and uPVC in both modern and traditional builds. The 240mm projection from the wall allows the heads to throw light forward onto pathways or angled upward onto walls without the backplate casting a shadow into the beam. Combined weight with the backplate and two heads is approximately 1.1kg, requiring adequate fixing into brick, block or timber with suitable wall plugs and screws for the substrate.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take and are they included?
The Vista takes two GU10 bulbs, which are sold separately. Most users pair this fitting with LED GU10 bulbs between 4-7W and 3000K-4000K for outdoor security or accent lighting.
Can it be used in fully exposed outdoor positions?
The IP44 rating protects against splashing water and solid objects over 1mm, but the fitting is not rated for full immersion or positions where it will be directly drenched by driving rain. It works well under eaves, porch roofs, or on sheltered external walls. For fully exposed positions, an IP65 or IP66 rated fitting would be more appropriate.
Are the heads independently adjustable?
Yes. Each head rotates on a ball joint independently, allowing one beam to be directed onto a pathway while the other lights a doorway, or both can be converged onto a single feature like a tree or wall section.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, provided you fit dimmable GU10 bulbs and pair the circuit with a compatible dimmer switch. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb and dimmer models used.
