Description

The Twine is a floor lamp built around a natural wood stem rising from a black powder-coated metal base, topped with an adjustable fabric shade on a black metal fitting. The lamp stands approximately 1.5m tall with a 300mm diameter circular base, and the shade can be angled on its joint to direct light towards a reading position or reflect it upwards onto a wall or ceiling.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and home offices where directed task lighting is needed without a fixed ceiling fitting, the Twine sits beside armchairs, sofas or desks. The wood stem provides structural height while keeping the visual weight lighter than an all-metal frame, and the black metal base and fittings anchor the design without overwhelming smaller rooms. The shade's fabric cover diffuses the light from the single E27 bulb, softening hard shadows while still providing enough focused output for reading or close work.

The metal components are powder-coated for durability and the fabric shade is backed with PVC to maintain its shape and resist sagging over time.
