Description

Made from aluminium, our Tripod Table Lamp 36cm has a lightness we appreciate in a small fitting. The three splayed legs form an open wire stand in Brushed Brass, a warm gold tone that catches the light without shouting for attention. At just 0.4kg, it lifts easily from surface to surface, and its slim footprint of 19cm in diameter means it settles onto a shelf, a windowsill or a table without crowding anything else you keep there. The stand is made to hold a shade above it, and here it is shown fitted with a feather shade, though the stand itself is what you are buying.

Standing 36cm tall, it suits a bedside spot, a reading corner or a console where you want a soft pool of light rather than an overhead glare. We fitted it with an E27 socket, and it also accepts E27, so you can pair it with a bulb you already have to hand. The maximum is a 15W LED, which we recommend for its low running temperature and long life, though the bulb is not included so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suit your room. For a cosy glow, we would reach for something around 2700K. Assembly takes about 5 minutes, which is roughly as long as it takes us to explain it.

The stand carries CE, UKCA, IP2X and UL markings, so we are confident it meets the standards you would expect from us for indoor use. The IP2X rating means it belongs inside, away from damp, on a landing, a desk or a dresser rather than anywhere exposed. We think the Brushed Brass finish works well against both pale and darker walls, and it sits comfortably within our wider lighting range if you like to keep a consistent look across a room.
