Description
Our Treasures Black Oak Dresser in Morning Meadows is made from solid oak and veneered particle board with a clear coat wood finish, and it earns its place in a bedroom or hallway. The chest holds three drawers down the centre, each fronted in oak with slim recessed handles that keep the lines clean and uncluttered. On either side, curved upholstered end panels soften the shape and give the piece a gentler outline, while four round tapered legs lift it clear of the floor. The Morning Meadows colour brings a fresh, easy tone that we find works with both light and darker rooms.
At 109.2cm wide, 93cm tall and 43cm deep, this dresser gives us plenty of room to store and organise without dominating the space around it. We have chosen materials that hold up to daily use, combining steel within the frame and a polyester upholstery on the end panels for a comfortable, tactile finish. The recessed handles let the drawers sit almost flush, so you can place it against a wall or beside a bed without catching on anything as you pass. At 64kg it feels solid and settled once in position, and we reckon assembly takes around 40 minutes with the parts we supply.
The clear coat wood finish lets the natural grain of the oak drawer fronts show through, and we suggest wiping it down with a soft, dry cloth to keep it looking its best, avoiding harsh cleaners on the upholstered panels. For styling, we like to pair it with a low lamp and a small tray on top, letting the Morning Meadows colour do the talking against plain walls. Whether you use it for clothes, linens or everyday odds and ends, it is a piece we are happy to have in the Treasures range.
