Description
Solid Black Oak in a warm Sugar Brown finish gives our Treasures cabinet its calm, grounded character, and we love how the deep grain settles into any room it stands in. This is a long, low piece measuring 150cm wide and just 75cm tall, with three solid oak sliding doors that glide across the front and curved upholstered end panels that soften each side. It rests on four round tapered legs, lifting the whole form off the floor so it feels lighter than its 47kg suggests. It is designed to work as easily in a living room as in a hallway or bedroom.
Behind the sliding doors you get generous concealed storage, with each interior shelf holding up to 15kg when the weight is spread evenly across it. The top surface takes up to 50kg on the same even basis, so we would happily see it holding a lamp base, a row of books or a favourite piece of ceramic. The faux leather end panels bring a tactile contrast to the oak, while the steel and particle board internals keep everything stable through daily use. At 43cm deep it slips neatly against a wall without dominating the space, which makes it a practical choice for smaller rooms as well as open-plan ones.
We keep assembly straightforward, and most people have this cabinet built in around 40 minutes with the help of our assembly video. Between the sliding doors, the tapered legs and the soft Sugar Brown tone, we think it offers a considered, useful piece that earns its place, and we are glad to have it in our range.
