Measuring 150cm wide and just 75cm tall, our Treasures 3-door Black Oak Cabinet in Shadow gives you a generous span of storage without dominating a room. The low profile suits a living room wall, a hallway or a dining space, and at 43cm deep it holds a good amount while keeping a slim footprint. Behind the three solid oak sliding doors we have arranged shelving that keeps everyday clutter tidy and out of view, so we think it works just as well for media kit and glassware as it does for books and linens.

This cabinet is made from solid oak in a Black Oak finish, paired with curved upholstered end panels in the Shadow colourway, a soft deep grey that sits calmly against both pale and darker walls. It stands on four round tapered legs that lift the frame off the floor and give the whole piece a lighter feel. The sliding doors save you the swing space of hinged fronts, which we find handy in tighter rooms, and the matt oak surface gives you a warm, grounded look rather than anything glossy. The top offers a flat run for a lamp, a plant or a few favourite objects.

Each internal shelf takes an evenly distributed load of up to 15kg, and the top will hold up to 50kg when the weight is spread across the surface, so plan heavier items with that in mind. The cabinet is made from solid oak, faux leather, particle board, steel and polyester, and it weighs 47kg once built. We reckon on around 40 minutes for assembly, and there is a video to follow if you would like a hand.
