Description
Our Treasures 2-door Oak Cabinet opens with a pair of solid oak sliding doors, so you glide one panel across the other rather than swinging them outward. That makes it a sensible choice for tighter spots such as a hallway or the wall beside a sofa, where a hinged door would need room to clear. Behind the doors we have given you a shelf for storing what you would rather keep out of sight, while the top stays free for the things you reach for daily. At 109cm wide and 75cm tall, with a depth of 43cm, it holds a good amount without dominating the floor.
This cabinet is finished in Sugar Brown, a warm mid-brown that sits easily against oak floors and softer wall colours alike. The two doors are cut from solid oak, and we finished the end panels as curved upholstered sides in faux leather, which rounds off the form and takes the hard edge off a boxy piece. It stands on four round tapered legs that lift it clear of the floor, so the whole thing reads as light despite its 36kg weight. The frame combines solid oak, particle board and steel, with a polyester and faux leather finish on the soft panels, all part of our Horizons S range.
The top is a steady surface for a table lamp base, a few books or a bowl, and it takes up to 50kg when you spread the weight evenly across it. Inside, the shelf holds up to 15kg, again with the load shared across the surface rather than piled in one corner. We supply it with an assembly video, and you should allow around 40 minutes to put it together at home.
