This low cabinet suits households that want practical storage with a softer, more inviting character than most sideboards offer. At 109cm wide and 75cm tall, it holds books, tableware, media or linens behind two solid oak sliding doors, and the top gives us a ready surface for a lamp, a plant or a favourite ceramic. It suits a hallway, a lounge or a dining room, wherever we need to tuck things away while keeping the room feeling calm and open.

The two sliding doors glide across the front, so there is no need to leave clearance for opening panels, which makes this cabinet a sensible choice for tighter corners and busier rooms. Either side of the doors, curved upholstered end panels in a Venetian Cane finish frame the piece and give it a gentle, rounded profile. It stands on four round tapered legs that lift the body clear of the floor, and the interior shelf takes up to 15kg when the load is spread evenly, while the top holds up to 50kg distributed across the surface. Assembly takes around 40 minutes, and we provide a video to walk you through each step.

This cabinet is made from solid oak, faux leather, particle board, steel and polyester, part of the Horizons S range, giving it a warm Dark Oak tone across the doors and body. To care for it, we suggest wiping the wood with a soft, dry cloth and dealing with any marks quickly rather than using harsh cleaners. The Venetian Cane upholstery on the end panels responds well to a light brush or a gentle vacuum. Style it simply, with a single lamp and a stack of books, and let the curved form do the rest.
