Description
Solid oak forms the heart of our Treasures 2-door Cabinet, and we have paired it with faux leather, particle board, steel and polyester to build a piece that feels grounded and considered. The two sliding doors are made from solid oak in a deep Black Oak finish, while the curved end panels are upholstered in our Morning Meadows shade, a soft touch that rounds off the corners of this low, wide cabinet. Standing on four round tapered legs, it measures 109cm wide, 75cm high and 43cm deep, giving you a generous surface without crowding the room.
Behind the sliding doors we have fitted shelving to keep everyday clutter tucked away, so the cabinet works just as well in a living room as it does in a hallway or bedroom. Each shelf takes an evenly distributed load of up to 15kg, and the top surface holds up to 50kg when the weight is spread across it, which leaves plenty of room for books, folded linens or a table lamp base and a few framed photographs. The sliding doors are a practical touch too, as they need no clearance to swing open, so you can place this cabinet in a tighter spot along a wall. At 36kg it sits solidly in place once you have it where you want it.
This cabinet is for people who want storage that looks quietly at home rather than shouting for attention, and the Morning Meadows upholstery against the Black Oak gives it a warm, natural pairing. Assembly takes around 40 minutes and we include an assembly video to walk you through it step by step. We think it will earn its keep in most rooms of the house.
