Description

The Torvani is a 490mm marble table lamp built around a rectangular block of grey marble with diagonal white veining, wrapped at the top and bottom by sculpted brushed brass overlays that sweep across the stone in angular curves. A slim brass stem rises from the marble body to a rectangular white PVC shade, and the whole assembly sits on a stepped brushed brass plinth. A single E27 lamp socket is concealed within the upper shade assembly.

Designed as a sideboard, console or hallway table lamp, the Torvani suits positions where the lamp is viewed face-on rather than across a wide arc. The 400mm length and 200mm depth give it a substantial presence on a console, while the 490mm height keeps the shade below average eye level when seated nearby. Use it on bedroom dressers, living-room sideboards, or as a paired lamp on either side of a long console.

The marble block is cut so the white veining runs diagonally across the front face, meaning each lamp shows a slightly different vein pattern depending on the section of stone. The brushed brass overlays at the head and foot of the marble are sculpted with a curved cut-out, partially exposing the stone behind and creating a defined transition between warm metal and cool mineral surfaces. The rectangular shade picks up the geometry of the marble block, keeping the overall silhouette architectural rather than ornamental.
