Description

The Torvani is a 490mm table lamp built around a rectangular grey marble block, framed top and bottom by polished brass overlays that sweep across the stone in mirrored diagonal curves. A slender brass stem rises from the centre of the marble body to a rectangular grey PVC shade, and the whole assembly sits on a stepped brass plinth measuring 400mm long and 200mm deep. A single E27 fitting is concealed inside the shade.

The Torvani suits console tables, sideboards, hallway tables and bedside tables in modern and contemporary interiors. The 400mm x 200mm footprint takes up roughly the same space as a hardback book on its side, so it fits comfortably on narrow consoles where deeper lamps would overhang.
