Solid oak and oak veneered MDF finished with a clear coat come together in our Together Sleek Rectangle Coffee Table Tall, a piece made to sit calmly at the heart of a living room. The warm Oak tone runs across the veneered surface and its solid oak lipping, while venetian cane forms the woven lower tier. We chose a rectangular shape with softly rounded corners so it feels approachable rather than boxy, and the clear coat keeps the natural grain of the wood on show without a heavy sheen.

The taller height makes this table an easy companion to a sofa, bringing the surface up to a comfortable level for a mug, a book or a table lamp base placed to one side. The lower tier of woven cane gives you a spot for magazines, remotes or a folded throw, keeping the top clear. Legs are made from solid oak and attach with threaded rods, so the frame feels steady once built, and we kept assembly straightforward at around 15 minutes from box to finished piece.
