Standing at 51.6cm tall, our Together Sleek Rectangle Coffee Table gives you a little more height than the low version in this range, which we find handy when you want a surface that sits comfortably alongside a deeper sofa. The rectangular top measures 100cm wide by 60cm deep, so there is room for a tray of drinks, a stack of books and a table lamp base without feeling crowded. Rounded corners soften the shape, and the whole piece weighs 21.5kg, giving it a settled, steady presence once it is in place.

We chose Black Oak for this one, a deep finish that suits darker interiors and pairs well with grey and muted tones across the rest of the room. The top is made from oak veneered MDF with solid oak lipping around the edge, sealed with a clear coat wood finish that lets the grain show. Beneath the surface sits a woven lower tier in venetian cane, a practical spot for magazines or a folded throw, and one that lends a bit of texture to the otherwise clean lines. The legs are solid oak, fixed with threaded rods, so the join stays firm through daily use. It is made from solid oak, oak veneered MDF and venetian cane, materials that wear well over the years.

Assembly takes around 15 minutes, and we have kept the process simple by attaching the legs with those threaded rods rather than anything fiddly.
