Within our Reader range we stock this single lounge chair in one considered specification. What you see is what arrives: a high-backed chair with a tall curved upholstered shell that wraps forward at the sides, set on an open solid oak frame. We chose the Oak wood for its warm, open grain, and we paired it with a Cognac upholstery that reads as a mellow, worn-in tan. It is a chair built for settling into, and we think its enclosing form gives you a quiet corner of your own.

The shape does real work here. That forward-wrapping shell gathers around your shoulders when you sit back, while the open oak frame keeps the whole piece looking light rather than bulky. At 105cm tall, 78cm wide and 91cm deep, it holds its own in a reading nook, beside a bookshelf or angled towards a window, and at 21.5kg it is steady on the floor without being awkward to reposition. We would happily place it alongside a floor lamp or near a low side table, giving you somewhere to rest a mug and a paperback within easy reach.
