Description

At 60cm wide and just 42cm high, our Reader Dark Oak Ottoman is a low, easygoing piece that slots into corners and open spaces without crowding a room. With a depth of 46cm it gives you a generous padded top to rest your feet on, and its slim profile means we can tuck it neatly beneath a window or beside a sofa. Weighing only 4.2kg, it is light enough to lift and move around as your seating arrangement shifts through the day.

The shaped, padded top sits in soft Black upholstery, held on an open frame of dark oak that keeps the whole thing feeling grounded and warm. We chose solid oak for the frame, with laminated veneer, polyester, MDF and PUR making up the rest of the build, so it holds its form while staying comfortable underfoot. The dark oak legs draw a clean line around the cushioned top, and the black covering hides everyday marks well, which is why we think it works as happily in a busy family room as in a quiet reading nook.

We have kept assembly simple, so you should have it ready in around 15 minutes, and there is an assembly video to follow along with if you prefer. Use it as a footrest in front of an armchair, as extra perching space when guests arrive, or as a soft surface for a tray near the sofa. Because this is a single specification.
