Description

At 78cm wide, 91cm deep and 105cm tall, our Reader Black Oak Lounge Chair holds a generous footprint without overwhelming the room around it. The high curved shell rises to full height and wraps forward at the sides, giving your shoulders and head proper support while the open oak frame keeps the whole thing feeling light on its feet. Weighing 21.5kg, it sits steadily where you place it, yet remains easy enough for two people to shift when you want to rearrange a reading corner or a spot by the window.

We finished this lounge chair in Cognac, a warm reddish tone that softens the black oak frame beneath it. The tall upholstered back and the shell that curves round at the sides make it a chair you settle into rather than perch on, so we think of it as somewhere to read for an hour or two rather than a seat you pass through.
