TENAX 10-20W CCT Adjustable LED Gear Tray - Knightsbridge

The Knightsbridge TENAX is a 235mm aluminium LED gear tray with on-site adjustable wattage (10W, 15W or 20W) and colour temperature (3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white or 5700K daylight). The tray secures to compatible Tenax One and Tenax Quad bulkhead casings via four butterfly clips and connects through push-fit terminal blocks with loop-in-loop-out capability.

Designed for commercial, industrial and utility applications where a single gear tray can cover multiple site requirements, the TENAX reduces stock complexity by eliminating the need to carry separate trays for different wattages and colour temperatures. Site selection is made by switching DIP switches on the back of the tray before installation, meaning one SKU covers nine possible output configurations. The push-fit terminals accelerate wiring on multi-unit projects.

The aluminium construction provides thermal management across the 40,000-hour L70B50 lifespan, with efficacy ranging from 141-151 lm/W depending on the selected configuration. The tray outputs between 1,360 lm at 10W 3000K and 2,630 lm at 20W 4000K, delivering between 136-148 lux on a 2.4m ceiling height over a 2m work radius. The IP20 rating suits dry internal environments including warehouses, corridors, plant rooms and back-of-house commercial spaces.

The TENAX range includes versions with emergency backup, microwave sensors and daylight sensors, allowing lighting designers to specify the exact function required for each zone while maintaining the same form factor across the project. How do I change the wattage and colour temperature?

The wattage and CCT are selected using DIP switches on the back of the tray before installation. Set the switches to your required combination (10W, 15W or 20W, and 3000K, 4000K or 5700K), then secure the tray to the casing. Once powered, the tray outputs at the selected configuration.

What casings are compatible?

The TENAX gear tray is designed to fit Knightsbridge Tenax One and Tenax Quad bulkhead casings. The casing is sold separately and must be purchased to complete the installation. The tray secures via four butterfly clips to the internal mounting points on the casing.

Is this suitable for outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating means the tray is suitable for dry internal environments only. For outdoor or wet-location bulkheads, specify a gear tray with IP65 or higher rating.
