Teaser Shelf - Saffron Yellow

Made from aluminium and steel, our Teaser Shelf 30cm is a slim wall shelf that keeps its structure honest and on show. Two flat panels are held apart by slender vertical rods, so the whole thing reads as open rather than boxed in. There is no back and no sides to hide behind, which is part of why we like it: you see the geometry, the gap between the panels and the way the metalwork catches the light. At 2.5kg it stays light enough to handle easily, yet the combination of materials gives it a steadiness that belies its narrow frame.

The finish here is Saffron Yellow, a warm golden shade that sits comfortably against pale walls and holds its own against darker ones. We think the yellow does good work in a hallway, above a desk or beside a bed, where a small hit of colour lifts a corner without taking it over.
