Description

The Stravion is a compact 300mm-tall table lamp built around a ribbed cylindrical shade carved from natural Spanish alabaster, set on a black marble base. The shade is cut with evenly spaced horizontal bands that step around its full circumference, with a single G9 lamp socket housed inside. A small black switch sits flush at the top of the shade for direct on-off control.

At 250mm in diameter and 300mm tall, the Stravion suits bedside tables, console tables, sideboards and bookshelves where a larger floor or wall fitting would be too much. The compact footprint and visible top-mounted switch make it practical for bedside use, while the diffused alabaster glow works well as low-level evening lighting in living rooms and reading corners. The fitting takes a single G9 capsule bulb (sold separately).

The alabaster shade carries natural mineral veining and tonal variation between bands, so each lamp shows a different pattern when lit. Light passing through the ribbed stone picks out the thickness of each band and softens into a warm diffused glow rather than a sharp directional beam.
