Made from solid oak, MDF and steel, our Stories Shelving 110cm brings together warmth and strength in one open, practical piece. The oak lends a soft, honeyed tone across the shelves and uprights, while the steel keeps the whole structure steady and true. This shelving has four horizontal shelves held between slim vertical uprights, and it leaves the back open so that light and space carry through rather than closing off the wall behind it. It reads as clean and unfussy, with the natural grain of the oak doing much of the work.

At 110cm wide, 147.8cm tall and 35cm deep, this shelving gives you four generous surfaces to arrange as you like. Each shelf takes a maximum load of 20kg, provided the weight is spread evenly across the surface, so there is room for books, ceramics, folded linens or a table lamp base sitting alongside a few favourite objects. The open format suits a hallway, a living space or a study alcove, and because it is open at the back it works just as happily against a painted wall as it does dividing a broader room.
