The integrated 7W LED sits behind a white ABS plastic bezel that recesses 53mm into the ceiling, requiring a minimum ceiling void depth of approximately 60mm for installation and driver clearance.

Designed for residential bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and commercial spaces where IP44-rated moisture resistance is required, the Stockton's colour temperature adjustment allows the same fitting to provide warm ambient light in the evening and cooler task light during daytime without changing bulbs or rewiring. Toggling the wall switch cycles through preset colour temperature steps from warm to neutral to cool white, making it useful in rooms used for different activities at different times.

The white ABS construction keeps the fitting lightweight at approximately 150g and the plastic body does not conduct heat to the ceiling material, making it safe for installation in standard plasterboard ceilings without additional fire-rated back boxes in most applications. The pulse driver eliminates visible flicker and the IP44 rating provides protection against water splashes from any direction, meeting UK building regulations for bathroom zones 2 and 3 when installed outside the shower enclosure and 60cm from the bath edge.

How do you change the colour temperature?

Toggle the wall switch off and on within two seconds. Each toggle cycles through preset colour temperature steps from 3000K warm white through neutral white to 6000K cool white. The fitting remembers the last setting when switched off normally.

What ceiling void depth is needed?

The fitting recesses 53mm into the ceiling. Allow a minimum 60mm ceiling void depth to accommodate the downlight body and the separate LED driver, which sits above the ceiling and requires clearance for heat dissipation and wiring access.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

Yes. The IP44 rating meets UK building regulations for bathroom zones 2 and 3 when installed outside the shower enclosure and at least 60cm from the edge of the bath. It is not rated for use directly above a shower or bath.

Is the Stockton dimmable?

No. The colour temperature control function relies on wall switch toggling and is not compatible with dimmer switches. Installing a dimmer will likely interfere with the CCT toggle function.
