Description

The Stellar is an 8 light cluster pendant with eight hand-blown frosted glass diffusers suspended on individual cables from a 500mm white metal canopy. Each diffuser is shaped like an elongated teardrop or balloon, with a gentle taper at the suspension point and a rounded base. The glass is fully frosted, diffusing light evenly without glare or hotspots when the eight G9 bulbs inside are lit (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for dining rooms, kitchen islands and double-height entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Stellar provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The eight pendants hang at staggered lengths, creating a sculptural cluster rather than a flat plane. The total drop varies by cable length but typically sits 900-1200mm below the ceiling rose once installed. The white finish on both the canopy and cables integrates cleanly with white or light-toned ceilings, allowing the frosted glass forms to hold visual focus.

Each glass diffuser is hand-blown, so minor variations in size, weight and frosting tone occur between individual pieces. The cluster arrangement works over rectangular dining tables 1800-2400mm long or circular tables up to 1500mm diameter, providing broad coverage without needing multiple fittings. The pendant is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 dimmable bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer switch, allowing output to be adjusted from full brightness for task lighting to a low glow for ambient evening use.

Are the glass diffusers identical?

No. Each diffuser is hand-blown, so minor variations in size, weight, frosting tone and internal texture occur between pieces. This is a characteristic of hand-blown glass production, not a defect.

Can the cable lengths be adjusted?

The cables are factory-set at staggered lengths to create the cluster effect. Cable shortening on installation is possible but requires re-terminating the electrical connections inside the canopy, which should only be done by a qualified electrician.
