Description

The Sparx is a 1805mm linear LED pendant light built around an extruded aluminium body finished in white, with an integrated 30W LED light source emitting 4000K neutral white light. The single-direction downlight beam provides even coverage across the length of the fitting without shadows, making it suitable for task lighting over workbenches, kitchen islands and office desks.

Designed for commercial and large residential spaces, the Sparx works above boardroom tables, retail counters, open-plan office desks and workshop benches where neutral, shadow-free light is needed. The 1805mm length covers approximately 1.5-1.8m of horizontal surface depending on the ceiling height and mounting position. The 2150mm cable allows the suspension height to be adjusted during installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m.

The extruded aluminium body gives the fitting a 50mm projection from the suspension cables, creating a low-profile visual presence when viewed from the side. The white finish integrates with white or light-toned ceilings while maintaining contrast against darker surfaces. The modular design allows multiple Sparx units to be run in parallel rows to cover wider areas, with each unit operating independently on mains voltage without additional control hardware.

The integrated LED is rated for 30,000 hours at 4000K, which translates to approximately 10-12 years of use in a typical office or commercial environment running 8 hours per day. The fitting is IP20 rated for dry indoor use only and carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux covering the LED module and housing.

No. The integrated LED operates on fixed 230V mains and does not support dimming. For environments requiring dimming control, consider the Sparx Pro variant which includes DALI dimming capability.

What is the coverage area?

Can multiple units be linked together?
