Sparx Corner Track Connector - White

The Sparx corner connector is a 90-degree L-shaped aluminium profile that joins two sections of track lighting rail at right angles, forming seamless corner transitions in track lighting installations. The white powder-coated aluminium finish measures 151mm along each leg of the L-shape, providing a clean junction point where two straight track sections meet.

Designed for residential kitchens, retail displays, galleries and commercial interiors where track lighting needs to follow wall corners or change direction around architectural features, the connector maintains electrical continuity through the corner while supporting the physical weight of the track sections on either side. The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at approximately 200g while providing structural rigidity to prevent sagging or misalignment at the corner joint.

Is this compatible with other track lighting brands?

The Sparx corner connector is designed specifically for the Ideal Lux Sparx track lighting system. Track systems from different manufacturers use different rail profiles, contact configurations and mounting systems, so cross-compatibility is not guaranteed. Use only Sparx-branded track sections and connectors for reliable electrical and mechanical connection.

Does it maintain power through the corner?

Yes. The corner connector contains internal electrical contacts that transfer power through the 90-degree turn, allowing track heads and pendant fittings to be positioned anywhere along the track run including immediately after the corner. The connector is passive and does not dim, switch or control the power supply.

Can it be used for outside corners or only inside corners?

The 90-degree L-shape is designed for inside corners where two walls meet at a right angle. For outside corners (where the track projects outward from a wall edge), a different connector profile would be needed. Check the Sparx range for T-connectors or flexible connectors if your installation requires outside corner routing.

What fixing method is used?

The connector mounts to the ceiling or wall surface using screws through pre-drilled holes in the aluminium profile. Once both legs of the L-shape are fixed in position, straight track sections clip into the open ends of each leg to complete the corner joint.
