Description
The Sparx is a 1805mm linear LED suspension light in extruded aluminium with a matt black powder-coated finish, housing two integrated 40W LED modules at 4000K neutral white. The bi-emission design sends light both upward and downward from the linear profile, providing direct task illumination beneath the fitting and indirect ambient light onto the ceiling above.
Designed for commercial and residential spaces with high ceilings, the Sparx suits open-plan offices, co-working desks, conference tables, kitchen islands over 1.5m long, and retail display runs. The 1805mm length covers workstation rows and dining tables without needing multiple fittings, reducing installation complexity. The 2150mm suspension cable allows the fitting to be positioned at worktop height (typically 700-900mm above a desk or table) or higher for general ambient coverage. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments.
The extruded aluminium profile runs 50mm deep and acts as the heat sink for the LED modules, keeping the fitting cool enough to touch during operation. The matt black finish absorbs reflections and suits industrial, contemporary, and minimalist interiors. The Sparx is part of a modular system — the 1805mm length can be installed alongside the shorter 1200mm variant (sold separately) to create continuous runs or staggered compositions along longer ceilings. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm and cool white, giving neutral illumination that works in both task-focused and social spaces without casting the yellow warmth of 3000K or the clinical blue edge of 5000K.

Frequently Asked
Is the Sparx dimmable?
No. The integrated LED modules are not compatible with dimmer switches. For applications requiring dimming capability, alternative products are available — please contact us for recommendations.
What does bi-emission mean?
Bi-emission means the fitting sends light in two directions: downward for direct task illumination and upward onto the ceiling for ambient bounce light. This creates more balanced lighting than a single-direction downlight, reducing harsh shadows beneath the fitting.
Can multiple Sparx fittings be joined together?
The Sparx is designed as a modular system and can be installed alongside other Sparx units to create continuous runs. The fittings are not physically linked, but can be positioned end-to-end or with small gaps depending on the desired effect. The 1805mm length can be combined with the 1200mm variant for custom configurations.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 2150mm suspension cable allows the fitting to hang in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.7m upward. For desk or table lighting, the fitting typically sits 700-900mm above the surface. For general ambient coverage, it can be positioned higher. The cable can be shortened during installation if needed.
