Description

The Sparkeon is a 3-head bar spotlight built from die-cast aluminium with a black powder-coated finish. Each of the three cylindrical heads houses a GU10 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately) and rotates on its mounting joint, allowing light to be directed independently across different zones. The 540mm bar mounts flush to the ceiling or wall via a rectangular backplate and projects 125mm from the mounting surface when the heads are angled forward.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, galleries and retail spaces where targeted lighting is needed, the Sparkeon provides flexible accent and task lighting without requiring multiple ceiling penetrations. The three heads can be set to illuminate a kitchen worktop, highlight artwork on opposite walls, or wash light down a hallway depending on how each head is angled. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations — bathrooms and outdoor use are not suitable.

The die-cast aluminium construction provides a substantial 1.2kg weight that stays secure once mounted, while the black powder coating resists scratches and daily wear better than painted finishes. The cylindrical head shape with recessed GU10 fittings creates a directional beam with minimal spill light, making the Sparkeon effective for highlighting specific objects or surfaces without flooding the entire room. Pair with dimmable GU10 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch for adjustable brightness.

What bulbs does the Sparkeon take?

Each of the three heads takes a standard GU10 bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 5-7W GU10 LED bulbs in either warm white (2700K-3000K) for residential settings or cool white (4000K) for task lighting in kitchens and offices.

Can the heads be adjusted after installation?

Yes. Each cylindrical head rotates and tilts on its mounting joint independently, allowing you to redirect light as needed after the fitting is installed. The joints hold position once set and do not require tools to adjust.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself supports dimming when paired with dimmable GU10 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Check that both your chosen bulbs and dimmer switch are rated for LED dimming to avoid flicker.

Can it be wall-mounted?

Yes. The rectangular backplate can be fixed to either a ceiling or a wall. When wall-mounted, the 125mm projection allows the heads to be angled away from the wall to illuminate artwork, shelving or adjacent areas.
