The Spark is an 800mm diameter semi-flush ceiling light built from a matt black painted metal frame with 20 brass-plated lamp holders radiating outwards from a central hub. Each holder takes an E27 bulb (sold separately), and the full 20-bulb configuration produces enough light output for large living areas, dining rooms or open-plan kitchen-diner spaces where a single ceiling fitting needs to serve multiple functional zones.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Spark sits close to the ceiling plane (semi-flush rather than pendant drop), making it a practical option where a chandelier would hang too low but a standard flush mount would lack presence. The radiating arms create a sculptural ceiling feature that works as both task and ambient lighting when paired with filament-style or globe LED bulbs that remain visible.

The matt black metal arms contrast with the brass lamp holders, giving the fitting a two-tone appearance that suits industrial-influenced interiors, mid-century modern schemes and contemporary spaces mixing warm metallics with darker base tones. The frame weighs approximately 4.5kg once all bulbs are fitted, requiring ceiling fixing into a joist or a reinforced plasterboard anchor rated for the combined load.

Yes, provided you use dimmable E27 bulbs and connect the light to a compatible dimmer switch on the mains circuit. Trailing-edge dimmers generally perform better with LED bulbs than leading-edge models.
