Description

The South Hope is a 451mm outdoor wall lantern built around a rectangular frame in oil rubbed bronze with a satin-etched opal glass cylinder inside. A single E27 bulb (sold separately, max 60W) sits within the glass diffuser, casting light through the frosted surface to produce a soft glow suitable for entranceways, covered porches and external pathways. The IP44 rating protects against splashing water from any direction, making it suitable for exposed wall positions under eaves or porch overhangs.

Designed for UK residential and hospitality installation, the lantern mounts directly to an exterior wall via a rear plate concealed behind the 178mm-wide frame. The 196mm projection from the wall gives the lantern enough clearance for a wall-mounted installation without interfering with door swings or porch furniture. The opal glass diffuses the bulb completely, preventing direct view of the filament or LED element and reducing glare when approaching a doorway at night.

The oil rubbed bronze finish has a low-sheen, darkened patina that weathers outdoor exposure without showing water marks or surface oxidation as readily as polished finishes.
