Description

The Sonnet is a 2-light crystal wall light built around an ornate gold-finished backplate cast with acanthus leaf and scrollwork detailing. Two candle-style arms extend from the central mounting plate, each supporting a drip pan ringed with faceted crystal beads and topped with an E14 bulb holder. Cut crystal droplets in octagonal and pear shapes hang from both the drip pans and the beaded chains draped between the arms, creating multiple points of light refraction.

Designed for hallways, dining rooms, bedrooms and living rooms where decorative wall lighting suits the interior scale, the Sonnet provides task and accent light without requiring floor space. The 310mm width and 425mm projection mean the fitting needs clearance from furniture and door swings — it works best on feature walls, flanking a mirror or headboard, or either side of a fireplace. The gold finish is a warm tone that pairs with traditional brass hardware, warm wood furniture and rich fabric colours.

Each E14 bulb (sold separately) illuminates the crystals from above, sending reflected and refracted light across the wall and into the room. Dimmable bulbs allow the light level to be adjusted for ambient evening lighting or brighter task light when needed. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations — the fitting is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor installation. The cast metal backplate and solid crystal droplets give the Sonnet a substantial weight that requires secure fixing to a solid wall or into studs behind plasterboard.
