Description

The Solenia is a 60mm diameter brass pendant light with an integrated 7W 3000K LED and a narrow conical diffuser that extends 255mm below the ceiling rose. The brass-plated metal housing tapers from a cylindrical stem to a flared cone, directing warm white light downward in a focused beam suitable for task lighting over worktops, bar counters and dining surfaces.

Designed for kitchens, breakfast bars and commercial hospitality settings, the Solenia works as a solo pendant in compact spaces or in clusters of three to five over longer islands and counter runs. The 1600mm black PVC cable is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to hang 600-800mm above a work surface depending on ceiling height. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor areas — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use.

The brass finish is plated rather than solid brass, giving a polished metallic appearance that pairs with warm-toned cabinetry, exposed copper pipework and industrial-style interiors. The narrow 60mm diameter makes the fitting visually discreet when installed in multiples, while the 255mm drop gives enough presence to define a zone without dominating the sight line. No. The integrated 7W LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. The fitting runs at full brightness whenever powered on.

What spacing is needed for multiple pendants over a kitchen island?

For a standard 2.4m island, three Solenia pendants spaced 600mm apart (with 300mm clearance at each end) provide even task lighting. For longer islands, add a fourth or fifth pendant at 600mm intervals.

Can the cable length be shortened?

Yes. The 1600mm cable can be shortened during installation by coiling excess cable inside the ceiling rose. Most installers set the pendant 600-800mm above the work surface.
