Description

The Solace is a 42mm round surface-mounted LED downlight with a white powder-coated aluminium body housing an integrated 4W LED at 4000K. The LED sits behind a transparent satin acrylic diffuser that spreads the light evenly downwards, giving glare-free illumination suitable for close viewing in kitchens, hallways, home offices and corridors.

Designed as a low-profile surface fitting rather than a recessed downlight, the Solace mounts directly onto the ceiling without requiring a cut-out or back box. The 42mm diameter and shallow cylindrical form make it unobtrusive on white or light-toned ceilings, and the surface-mount design allows it to be fitted in ceiling constructions where recessed downlights are impractical. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas.

The white powder-coated finish on the aluminium body resists yellowing and provides a durable surface that pairs cleanly with white ceilings and minimalist interiors. The integrated LED delivers cool white light at 4000K, which suits task lighting applications and spaces where clarity is needed without the warmer tone of 2700K-3000K bulbs.
